

Il fotovoltaico più conveniente è quello che installate dopo aver tagliato i consumi. Spesso succede il contrario.
La potenza viene calcolata sulle bollette dell’anno precedente. Dentro quelle bollette ci sono le perdite della rete di aria compressa, i motori sovradimensionati, il calore di processo non recuperato. Il risultato è un impianto che produce energia per coprire consumi evitabili.
In breve: l’autoproduzione riduce davvero l’esposizione alla volatilità dei prezzi, ma solo se segue la diagnosi energetica. Non se la precede.
Il primo peso è il livello. Secondo i dati Eurostat più recenti per le utenze non domestiche (secondo semestre 2025, al netto di IVA e imposte recuperabili), le imprese italiane pagano più della media europea (Eurostat, 2026).

È la fascia tipica di molte PMI manifatturiere. La media UE è 0,184 €/kWh: il differenziale è di circa il 20%.
Consumi 2 000-19 999 MWh annui
0,195 €/kWh
Il divario è analogo: la media UE è 0,160 €/kWh.
Rispetto a Francia (0,153) e Spagna (0,132) la distanza è molto maggiore.
Il secondo peso è la variabilità. Nella fascia 500-1 999 MWh il prezzo italiano è passato da 0,209 €/kWh nel primo semestre 2024 a 0,234 nel primo semestre 2025, per poi scendere a 0,220 (Eurostat, 2026). La dipendenza energetica dall’estero è del 74,8%, secondo il Politecnico di Torino la più elevata nel contesto europeo (Politecnico di Torino & SRM, 2025). È plausibile che questa volatilità sia strutturale.
Ogni kWh autoprodotto e autoconsumato è sottratto a queste oscillazioni per tutta la vita utile dell’impianto.
Nel 2025 la produzione fotovoltaica italiana ha raggiunto circa 44,3 TWh, +25,1% rispetto al 2024, e la capacità installata è cresciuta di 6,4 GW. Il fotovoltaico è diventato la prima fonte rinnovabile, con il 34,6% della produzione da rinnovabili (Terna, 2026). Già nel 2024 la produzione solare era cresciuta del 19,3% sull’anno precedente (Politecnico di Torino & SRM, 2025).
Il Piano Transizione 5.0 nella versione a credito d’imposta è chiuso. Le risorse si sono esaurite il 6 novembre 2025, e il meccanismo chiedeva di ridurre i consumi di almeno il 3% della struttura produttiva o del 5% del processo interessato (Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, s.d.-b).
Dal 2026 c’è il nuovo iperammortamento previsto dalla legge di bilancio, per gli investimenti effettuati dal 1° gennaio 2026 al 30 settembre 2028. La maggiorazione del costo è:
Sono ammessi anche gli impianti di autoproduzione da fonti rinnovabili per l’autoconsumo, sistemi di accumulo compresi, purché la potenza non superi il 105% del fabbisogno medio annuo dell’esercizio precedente. La piattaforma GSE per le prenotazioni è aperta dal 12 giugno 2026 (Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy, s.d.-a).
Il limite del 105% è un motivo in più per fare prima la diagnosi. Se riducete i consumi dopo l’installazione, vi resta una potenza dimensionata su un fabbisogno che non esiste più.
Le grandi imprese devono eseguire una diagnosi energetica ogni quattro anni e comunicarne i risultati all’ENEA (Decreto legislativo 4 luglio 2014, n. 102, 2014, art. 8). Per le PMI non è obbligatoria. Ma è la base tecnica per decidere un investimento che dura alcuni decenni. La sequenza che proponiamo:
L’autoproduzione da fonte rinnovabile sposta anche gli indicatori ambientali. Nell’impronta di carbonio (carbon footprint) di un’organizzazione riduce le emissioni indirette dell’energia acquistata (Scope 2): i dati che i clienti chiedono sempre più spesso nei questionari di qualifica dei fornitori.
Anche qui, comunicate solo ciò che avete misurato.
